This is the only Ramen restaurant that I have visited a couple of times. It is always crowded during the peak hours especially lunch and dinner.
The chef of this restaurant is a Japanese who previously work for Menya Musashi and Menya Kamikaze. He then founded his restaurant, Menya Shi-Shi Do. To maintain the quality of the ramen, the owner taste the soup before the shops open in order to serve a consistent quality bowl of ramen, I never disappointed with the taste. CONSISTENCY!

When it comes to ordering a Ramen, you will need to figure out what kind of soup base you prefer. There are multiples choices, single flavour, double flavour or triple flavour. Of course, having a single flavour gives you a robust soup taste. You totally can feel the difference if you order “Kuro” and “Kuro + Aka”.
There are total of 6 types of soup base :
Shiro – Pork Soup
Kiro – Black Garlic Pork Soup
Aka – Spicy Pork Soup
Ki – Curry
Midori – Basil
Thunder – Pepper Spicy

If you are a meat lover, then I would recommend you to get this Yaki Buta ramen instead of the normal one. The only difference is the meat that served in this dish. The fat to meat ratio of the char siew is 1:1 and it literally melts in your mouth, that’s why it is sinful and juicy.
Yaki Buta come with 3 flavours,
1. BBQ (This is their signature, most of the customer also getting this one)
2. Spicy (If you do not like the meat to be sweet, you can try spicy flavour, for me, the spicy level just mild as Japanese don’t really eat spicy food)
3. Coriander Spicy (It does not have strong taste or smell of coriander, it has the original taste of the meat)

The only different between Lipon Yaki Buta Ramen and Yaki Buta Ramen are the portion of the meat. The portion may be too much for a single person serving but if you are a person who can eat a lot, definitely get this.
When it come to side dish, this is what I would recommend.
1. Tori Kawa (Deep Fried Chicken Skin)
Every piece of it, crispy to the max! You should get this instead of Gyoza if you’re a person who love sinful food.
2. Age Gyoza
If you can handle more than 1 side dish, why not straight get both of it? Food is everything you can have!
3. Croquettes
It is like a fried potato ball mixed with some minced meat.
